SafeNet Trusted Access for ParkMyCloud

Overview

Configuring SafeNet Trusted Access for ParkMyCloud is a three-step process:

1.ParkMyCloud setup

2.SafeNet Trusted Access setup

3.Verify authentication

ParkMyCloud Setup

As a prerequisite, download the Identity Provider signing certificate from the SafeNet Trusted Access console by clicking the Download X.509 certificate button. You will need this certificate in one of the steps given below.

Perform the following steps to configure SafeNet Trusted Access as your Identity Provider in ParkMyCloud:

1.Log in to ParkMyCloud as an administrator using the https://console.parkmycloud.com/#/login/ URL.

2.In the left pane, click Single Sign-On.

3.In the right pane, in the Single sign-on field, select Allowed for all users or Required for all users except admins.

4.Perform the following steps:

a.In the Initial team field, select your team (for example, My First Team).

b.In IdP field, select Custom.

c.In IdP configuration field, select Manual.

d.In the IdP sign-in URL field, enter the SINGLESIGNONSERVICE URL that is provided on the SafeNet Trusted Access console.

You can copy this URL by clicking the Copy to Clipboard icon available next to the SINGLESIGNONSERVICE field.

e.In the IdP entity ID field, enter the ISSUER/ENTITY ID URL that is provided on the SafeNet Trusted Access console.

You can copy this URL by clicking the Copy to Clipboard icon available next to the ISSUER/ENTITY ID field.

f.Open the Identity Provider certificate that you downloaded earlier from the SafeNet Trusted Access console in Notepad and copy the entire text of the certificate.

g.In the IdP certificate field, paste the entire text of the Identity Provider certificate that you copied in the previous step.

h.Click Save Changes.

SafeNet Trusted Access Setup

After completing the first step of configuring SafeNet Trusted Access in ParkMyCloud, the second step is to activate the ParkMyCloud application in SafeNet Trusted Access by performing the following steps:

1.In the Applications pane, you will notice that the ParkMyCloud application that you added previously is currently in inactive state by default. To configure and activate this application, click the application (for example, ParkMyCloud) and proceed to the next step.

2.Under STA Setup, perform the following steps:

a.In the SP ENTITY ID field, enter the SP entity ID that is provided under Single Sign-On(SSO) with SAML on the ParkMyCloud administrator console.

b.In the NAME ID field, ensure that Email address is selected.

c.For the FirstName and LastName return attributes, ensure that the First Name and Last Name user attributes are selected, respectively.

3.Click Save Configuration to save the details and activate the ParkMyCloud application in SafeNet Trusted Access.

Verify Authentication

Using STA Console

Navigate to the User login URL of ParkMyCloud that is provided under Single Sign-On(SSO) with SAML on the ParkMyCloud administrator console. For example:

https://console.parkmycloud.com/saml/login/82cb16a488388a8f844a88252e49cee4

You will be redirected to the SafeNet Trusted Access sign-in page. Enter your primary directory login information, approve the two-factor authentication, and you should be redirected to the ParkMyCloud user portal after authentication.

Using STA User Portal

Navigate to the User Portal URL to log in to the STA User Portal dashboard. On the dashboard, you will see a list of applications to which you have access. Click on the ParkMyCloud application icon, you should be redirected to the ParkMyCloud user portal after authentication.
